* Seán Connollys won the 1919 title as Clonbroney Camlin Rovers. The club was renamed in the early 1930's.

** Denotes clubs or amalgamations that no longer exist or merged or evolved into a different or alternate unit. This includes (1) Ardagh St. Patricks, (2) Ballinamuck 98s, (3) Drumlish/Éire Óg, (4) Shannon Gaels, (5) Longford Commercials, (6) Longford Leo Caseys, (7) Edgeworthstown Volunteers, (8) United Gaels, (9) Ballywillan Michael Davitts and (10) Cranley Hearts of Erin.

*** Between 1972 and 1979 amalgamations made up of Intermediate Championship clubs competed for a place in the Senior Championship proper. This qualifier series consisted of Preliminary Round, First Round, Semi Final, Final and the winner progressing to Preliminary Round of Senior Championship (apart from 1976 and 1979 when they went into the First or Second Round). For 1972-1974 and 1976-1977 Killoe temporarily amalgamated with Sean Connolly's as 'Killoe Connollys' in these qualifiers, and in 1975 combined with Abbeylara as 'Killoe/Abbeylara' in these qualifiers. In 1977 Killoe won the Intermediate Championship and was promoted to Senior, playing in all Senior Championships thereafter as Killoe Young Emmets.
