Senior Club Notes 8th February 2016

Senior scor kicked off at the weekend with our question time team made up of Yvonne O Toole, John Kiernan, Thomas Reilly and Thomas Quinn representing the club. Unfortunately it was not to be after a close contest with the team from Saint Columba’s emerging on top and progressing to the national finals in Killarney. The remainder of the scor programme takes place in Ardagh this coming weekend. We have representatives in most disciplines and we wish them all success.

Well done to the Longford senior team who had a fine win in round two f the league last weekend.

Membership is now well overdue for the year and payable immediately to registrars Jim McGoldrick and Sean Whelan. €40 for players, €25 for non players and €20 for students.

Our lotto draw took place on Sunday night in Begleys bar. The numbers drawn were 11,18,20 and 30. There was no jackpot winner. €20 winners were the Caherly family, Micknagh, Daniel Keogh, Kelleter, Eamon Reynolds, C/O Doyles bar, Michael Dunne, Ennybegs and Eamon Keogh, Ohill. This weeks sellers prize went to Berney Brady. Next weeks draw for a jackpot of €3,600 takes place in the Olde Forge. Thanks again to all who support our lotto draw.
