Coaching Workshop

A fantastic morning of coaching was had with Kevin Stritch and Shane Smith on Saturday Morning last in what was very windy and cold conditions at times. Kudos to our U17/U18s and U13s/6th class players(boys &girls) who togged for the sessions. Both coaches brought a wealth of knowledge and a fresh perspective on coaching and drills for all those in attendance. Key takeaways being inclusion, adaptability and fun at all levels. It was great to see the huge number of coaches across all ages groups within the club at the event. Thanks to Emmet & Daniel who organised the event & to those who assisted with refreshments, photography, and stewarding.

GAA National Congress 2022

National Congress took place in the Dome at Connaught GAA Centre of Excellence on Saturday last. A motion put forward by our club pertaining to the application of score difference in U17 and younger competitions was passed with 84.5% in favour. Many thanks to Robbie Browne for drafting the motion.
