Unfortunately our intermediate B team came up just short in the championship final on Sunday last going down to favorites Colmcille on a final score of 1-10 to 8 points.. Hard luck to the team and management. Well done to Colmcille ho were just that bit sharper on the day.
This Friday evening our junior team have their final league game at home to Abbeylara. This is an important game as the winners qualify for the last 4 of the Gilmore cup.
Our lotto draw took place on Sunday night in the Olde Forge an the numbers drawn were 7, 10, 17 and 36. There was no jackpot winner. €20 winners were Mickey Joe Keogh, Aidan Quinn, May and Emer Muldoon, Ferefad, Kate Martin, C/O Kevin Prunty and Mr and Mrs Watt, C/O Yvonne O Toole. This weeks sellers prize went to Jim McGoldrick. Well done to all the winners. Next weeks draw for a jackpot f €9,400 will take place in Begleys bar on Sunday night.
