Senior Club Notes – 25th February 2019

Annual Killoe 5k and 10k Run:

Our Annual Emmet Og 5K and 10K takes place on Sunday next the 3rd of March. Registration takes place on Saturday the 2nd of March 6-30 to 7-30pm in Ennybegs Community Centre and on Sunday morning from 10am to 11-15 am at the clubhouse Clonee. Cost for runners 20, walkers 10 and juveniles 5.

Race starts at 12noon. Your support would be greatly appreciated.

Club Membership:

Club Membership is opened until 31st of March and can be obtained from Club Registrars RonanMc Goldrick and Sean Whelan. This entitles all members to vote at our annual general meeting.

Lotto:

Our weekly lotto draw took place in The Olde Forge Bar on Sunday night. There were no jackpot winners. The numbers drawn were 5,14,24,31. The 20 winners were Anne McDermott Trillick Longford, Helen Leavy c/o Sean McKenna, Kevin Mahon Kilnatruahan, Padraig Mc Cormack Bawn and Willie Browne Esker. The sellers prize went to Brendan Bracken.

Next weeks draw takes place in Begleys Bar on Sunday night and the jackpot will be 5,200. Thanks for your continued support to our weekly lotto. Anyone interested in purchasing a yearly lotto ticket can contact any member of the executive.

Cullyfad School Reunion:

Calling all past pupils who attended Cullyfad National School. On August 4th 2019 a School Reunion celebration will be held in Cullyfad for all past pupils who attended until it closed in November 1971. A souvenir school history book will be launched on the day. Come along and enjoy music, food, craic and a chat with old friends.

Sympathy:

The club extends sincere sympathies to the Cosgrove family Bawn and Maguire family Soran on their recent bereavements.
