Good news for all you novice cyclists or indeed anyone who fancies taking their bike out for a spin. With the Terry McCormack Memorial Cycle coming up in 8 weeks on 9th April,  a group of Terry’s friends and cycling companions will be meeting each Sunday morning at 9.30am to prepare for the cycle in April.
First outing will take place Sunday week February 7th from Killoe NS setting off at 9.30am
All are welcome!

Preparations are ongoing for this years scor competition which takes place in Ardagh on the 12th February. We hope to have an entry in all the various sections. Anyone interested in taking part please contact Marie McCormack on 086 3516501. The question time competition will take place this coming Friday evening in Pearse Park. Good luck to our entrants in this competition.

Our lotto draw took place on Sunday night last in the Olde Forge. The numbers drawn were 2,11,16 and 29. There was no jackpot winner. €20 winners were Eugene Murphy, Corneddan, Clara O Reilly, Bray, John Lennon, Clontumpher, Rosemary Rowley, Esker and Julie Murphy, Corneddan. This weeks sellers prize went to one of our new team members Paul Brady.

As we get set for another year of games and activities in the club house we must again visit the subject of fundraising. Our weekly lotto is our main source of funding and our only access to money on a week by week basis. While we are very thankful of all who participate in the lotto on a weekly basis, we are hoping to up our sales of annual lotto membership. Bulk lotto membership is available through any club member at €100 for a year, (2 free weeks), €50 for 6 months and €25 for 3 months.

Finally we offer our deepest sympathies to the Keogh family, Ohill and the Bratten family Kiltyrehir on their recent bereavements.

Thomas Quinn.
