Leader Cup Semi-Final V Longford Slashers

Our Seniors booked their place in the Leader Cup Final with a fantastic 7 point win over Longford Slashers in Emmet Park on Tuesday evening. Goals courtesy of Ciaran Donohoe & Mark Hughes proved decisive factors as the full time score read Killoe 2-15, Longford Slashers 1-11.

Packie Joe Lynch Tournament

Our Minor Club held their annual Packie Joe Lynch Tournament in Emmet Park on Sunday morning. A special thank you to our Minor Club Committee members who put in a huge effort in organising this tournament and ensuring the day is an enjoyable one for all the clubs who take part.

John Skelly / Leader Cup Final

Our Seniors played Mullinalaghta St. Columbas in the John Skelly & Leader Cup finals. It was neck and neck for most the first half with no side gaining more than a single point advantage in the first half. The second half saw no real change. Paddy Moran led the way for Killoe with a number of points scored from play. A late equaliser by David Mcgivney sent the game to extra time as neither side could shrug off the other. Extra time was a further end to end affair, Killoe got scores through Ciaran Donohoe, Mark Hughes & Daniel Mimnagh but St. Columbas replied each time, with their final leveller coming from a 45 well into injury time of extra time by Conor Leonard. A penalty shootout ensued and unfortunately Killoe lost out 5 goals to 4. Congratulations to St. Columbas Mullinalaghta on the win. Commiserations to the team & management who must now regroup for the opening round of the Senior Championship in two weeks time.

Upcoming Fixtures

Our Junior team face Gratton Óg in the Gilmore Cup Final this coming Friday in Dunbeggan at 8pm.
