We are holding our annual clothing collection on Saturday 5th October. We can accept your clean unwanted clothes bed linen towels and textiles including shoes bags belts and soft toys. We will be ready to take in your unwanted items each Friday evening from 6.30-7.30 in Clonee. If you cannot drop off your unwanted items please contact either John Conlon (087 2203188) Robbie Browne (087 4133975) and we can arrange collection of same.
Following last weeks results our Minor team has made it through to the semi-final of the Minor championship and will meet St Colmcille/St Francis.
Our U16’s commenced their A Championship with a comprehensive win against Carrick Sarsfield /St Dominics. The third round is set for Wednesday 18th September at home to Clonbroney/Wolfe Tones.
Our U14’s defeated Comcille/St Francis on Saturday 7th September at home in round 3 of the U14 championship. Our next game at this level is a playoff match against Carrick Sarsfield/St Dominics set for Thursday 12th September at 6.45 pm in Clonee.
Our U12’s lost to St Francis in Longford U12 league.
Well done to our seniors in defeating Colmcille in senior championship semi-final last weekend. Best wishes to our Junior team in the Championship semi-final against Colmcille on Friday night next.
The club extends its sympathy to the Shaughnessy and Igoe family on the recent bereavement.
