Congratulations to our senior team and our junior in reaching their county finals with wins over Dromard and Longford Slashers and in particular members of the minor club who paid key roles in the Junior success.
Well done to our U16 who had a good win in the U 16 championship over Granard/ Ballymore. Next Round set for Thursday 10th September in Emmet park versus Ballymahon/Forgney /Southern Gaels.
Our 14’s had a comprehensive win over Carrick Sarsfield/St Dominic’s team last week. Next round set for Tuesday 8th September V Longford Slashers. In addition our U14’s won the Gowna tournament on Saturday last beating Crosserlough Cavan in the final. Along the way the defeated the host Gowna, St Patrick Ardagh, Ballymachugh Cavan, Knockbride Cav
U12 team was defeated by Clouguish in U12 league.
Next round of U8 go games indoor Blitz on thursday 10th September at 6.30 in Newtownforbes community centre. Our 40th anniversary celebration has been set for Saturday 26th September. Annual club draw set for that night. Tickets available from executive members and players.
