Senior Notes Notes – 7th October 2019

Senior Championship:

On Sunday last our Senior team recaptured the Sean Connolly Cup last won in the parish in 2015 following a 1 point victory over Longford Slashers. Final-Score Killoe 0-12 Longford Slashers 0-11. We were made fight for this victory and it took a last fisted point for the victory. Great credit goes to the management and all panel members.

Congratulations to Daniel Mimnagh who was named as Man Of The Match. Hard luck to Longford Slashers who really made us work for the victory. We look forward to the Leinster Championsip at the end of October where we will play the Westmeath champions either St. Lomans or Garrycastle.

Special word of thanks to our supporters today it was great to see the whole parish getting behind the team.
