Division 1 V Colmcille
Our seniors scored a 3 point win over Colmcille in McGee park on Sunday last. The first half was close affair with a number of Killoe’s scores coming from frees. The main chance of the half saw Michael Quinn race towards the Colmcille goal, finding Larry Moran free with a pass to the edge of the square, but good defending from Colmcille meant a point was all that could be taken. The teams were level at half time with 6 points each. The second half continued in the same fashion and the teams were level again at the second water break. Killoe rallied well in the final quarter and were 3 in front when Michael Quinn received a second yellow to reduce Killoe to 14 men. Colmcille sent ball forward in search of an equalising goal but the defence held firm to see out the game. Full time score Killoe 0-14, Colmcille 0-11. The win sees Killoe go top of Division 1 with one game remaining. Well done to the team & management.

Our Club A.G.M takes place on Saturday the 20th of November at 5pm in the Club House.

Our Seniors take on Clonguish on Sunday next at 12 noon in Allen Park in the final round of Division 1. Our Intermediate team are scheduled to take on Ballymore in the Gilmore Cup Semi Final next weekend, time & date to be confirmed. Please see Longford GAA website for fixture details.
