Our mens shed group hold their inaugural fundraising race night in the Olde Forge kicking off at. 8.30PM. Entry is free on the night with fantastic prizes on offer over the nights racing. All monies raised goes directly to the purchase of tools and provisions for our mens shed which is now up and running. The committee wish to thank all who have donated spot prizes for the event. This is sure to be a fantastic nights entertainment so please come along and support our mens group.
We were in action in the Bertie Allen Cup on Friday evening last when we welcomed Ballymahon to Emmet Park. Unfortunately we were second best throughout with Ballymahon recording a convincing win. Well done to Ballymahon.
A much depleted junior reserve team welcomed Ardagh/Moydow to Emmet Park in scorching conditions on Sunday afternoon. Having trailed throughout, Ryan Murray scored a sublime goal on the stroke of full time to give us the lead for the first time. We eventually ran out winners on a score of 2-11 to 1-10. Well done to team and management.
This coming weekend we are away to Dromard in the Bertie Allen cup on Saturday evening at 7pm.
