Easter Camp 2024

On Tuesday,  Wednesday and Thursday the sun shone on over 70 boys and girls for our club Easter Camp, finishing up with a surprise visit from the Ice Cream van on Thursday afternoon.

The children enjoyed lots of fun games, obstacles courses as well as spending time improving all their GAA skills.

We couldn’t have ran it without the fantastic help from our volunteer coaches and helpers: Grace Quinn,Emily Quinn, Tara flynn, Aaron Prendergast, David Quinn, Clodagh Reilly, Conor Shannon, Cody Corcoran, Gavin Donohoe, Aaron Hopkins, Conor Doherty, Ciara McKeon, Jorja Coyle, Maeve Harkin, Ruairi Cullen and Dylan O’ Neill.

Special word of thanks to our club and county players Danny Mimnagh, Michael Hughes, Mickey Quinn and Anna Moorhead for taking time out of their week to coach at our camp.

We are very lucky to be in a position to have so many players willing to give up their time to give the children in our club this fantastic opportunity.

Thank you to Ash and all at Pizza Hut Longford for supplying lunch to coaches on Thursday.

Thank you to Jim Donaldson and Kathryn Casey for looking after registration on Tuesday morning.

Finally, thank you to our club GPO Aaron for coordinating his first camp with our club. We look forward to seeing Aaron back in school on Tuesday and Thursday and continuing to work alongside our underage teams and mentors.
