Junior Championship Round 1 V Ballymore
Our Junior team fell to an opening round defeat at the hands of Ballymore on Saturday evening last in Ballybrien. Full time score Ballymore 4-11 Killoe 3-7. Commiserations to the team & management.
Senior Championship Round 2 V Colmcille
Our Senior lost out to Colmcille by the slimmest of margins on Sunday evening in Dromard. Colmcille opened the scoring with two well taken points. Killoe responded by scoring 1-1, the goal being scored by Shane Clarke. By halftime, Colmcille had the advantage of a single point. Colmcille further extended their lead to 3 points in the second half but Denis McGoldrick scored a goal to level the game in the 60th minute. Killoe searched for a winner but a spilled ball was pounced on by Colmcille who countered and scored to seal the win. Full time score: Killoe 2-7 Colmcille 0-14.
Club Championship Tickets
Tickets for the upcoming club championship games will only be available online at longfordgaa.ie/tickets-clubs. Unfortunately no tickets will be available at the grounds before matches. If any supporter is unable to purchase a ticket online please contact any member of the club executive who will help arrange a ticket for you.
