Senior Club Notes – 6th May 2019

Division 1 and 3 Teams:

We recorded two good victories in Division 1 and Division 3 Leagues against Clonguish over the weekend. On Friday evening our Division 1 team defeated Clonguish on a scoreline of Killoe 16 points Clonguish 1-7. We looked fairly comfortable in this game from start to finish leading by 7 points to 4 at the break. In the second half we played our best football and finished the game winning by 6 at the finish.

On Saturday evening our Division 3 team travelled to Allen Park to take on Clonguish. After a great start in the first 15 minutes it looked like we were going to have an easy victory but the home team finished the half the better which left us up 1-8 to 1-3 at the break. Clonguish had the better start to the second half before Killoe took over and looked to be heading for a comprehensive victory. Clonguish came back again and in the end we came away with a 2 point victory Clonguish 3-8 to Killoe 1-16 point.

All players check fixture list for games for next weekend.
