Our mens shed group was launched last Saturday night with a great nights entertainment in Begleys. Thanks to all who attended, donated spot prizes or assisted in organizing the event. Thanks also to Connie and Paddy and the Begley family for hosting the event.
Well done to the Longford Under 21 team on their fantastic win over KIldare in the Leinster championship last Wednesday night. Best of luck in the next round.
Our lotto draw took place in Begleys on Sunday night and the numbers drawn were 5, 15, 20 and 23. There was no jackpot winner. €20 winners were Margret Craig, Esker, Online, Padraig Maguire, Newtownforbes, Online, Jim Bohan, Crieve, Kevin Murray, Ennybegs and Jim McGoldrick. This weeks sellers prize went to Roisin Lennon. Next weeks draw for a jackpot of €6,500 will take place in The Olde Forge on Sunday night.
