Division 1 V Colmcille
Our Seniors suffered a narrow one point defeat in McGee Park to Colmcille on Friday last. The first half seen both sides defences holding firm with Colmcille edging in front by half time thanks to some long range scores. Killoe gained more forward momentum in the second half but couldn’t convert their chances with a number of shots missing the target. Late on in the half, Gavin Farrelly hit a shot from range which came off the upright, landing in the waiting Eamon Keoghs hands who made no mistake in slotting home the goal. With only a point between the sides Killoe couldnt manage the equalising score as Colmcille held on for a win. Full time score: Killoe 1-7 Colmcille 0-11

Our Division 5 team suffered defeat at the hands of Colmcille in Emmet Park on Saturday evening last. Full time score Killoe 3-7 Colmcille 5-14

With County players now eligible to play, our seniors take on Rathcline in round 6 of the league on Saturday evening at 7PM in Emmet Park. Our Juniors take on Longford Slashers on Sunday next at 12:30PM in Michael Fay Park.
