Our reserve junior team had a fine in in the league semi final on Friday evening against Kenagh. We now face Abbeylara in the final this coming Saturday evening. Our senior team are in league action against Clonguish also this Sunday. Good luck to both teams.
Hard luck to the Longford senior team who lost out to Donegal on Saturday last. Certainly anyone who was at the game would agree that there’s not that much of a gap in class between the teams. Hopefully we can build on this for 2018.
Our lotto draw took place on Sunday night in The Olde Forge and the numbers drawn were 5,14,22 and 28. There was no jackpot winner. €20 winners were Andrew Murphy, Corneddan, Brìd McGoldrick, Ennybegs, Rory Fitzpatrick, Clontumpher, Jim McGoldrick, Ennybegs and Fergal Brady, Ballinalee. This weeks sellers prize went to Noel Devaney. Next week sees the jackpot rise to €8,200 with the draw in Begleys bar on Sunday night.
