Senior Club Notes 3rd April 2017

Hard luck  to our instrumental music group of Marie Brady, Padraig Walsh and Paddy Collumb who lost out in the Leinster senior Scòr final on Sunday afternoon in Ballymore in Westmeath.

We took on Mostrim in the Bertie Allen Cup round 2 at Emmet Park on Friday evening last. Unfortunately we came out on the wrong side of a 2-10 to 11 points score line. This coming weekend our junior team are away to Shroid on Saturday evening  at 6.30pm while our senior team open their league account with a difficult game away to Colmcille on Sunday at 2.30pm

Well done to the Longford senior team on preserving their division 3 status with a great draw in Antrim on Sunday. A fine point late on from Sean McCormack secured the draw. Congratulations to everyone involved.

Our lotto draw took place in the Olde Forge on Sunday night and the numbers drawn were 23, 32, 33 and 36. There was no jackpot winner. €20 winners were Rita Moran, Clontumpher, Cait McInerny, Ohill, Jim Bohan, Crieve, Mark McGoldrick and Eileen Devaney. This weeks sellers prize went to Sean McKenna. Next weeks draw for a jackpot of €6,900 will take place in Begleys on Sunday night next.
