Division 1:
Our Senior team had a good victory over Dromard in the Division1 League on Sunday last on a scoreline of Dromard 10 points Killoe 13 points. Killoe started slowly as Dromard had the better of the early exchanges leading by 6 points to 3 after 12 minutes of play. Killoe finished the better of the 2 teams and only trailed by one, 8 points to 7 at the break. Halfway through the second half the sides were level at 9 points each. Killoe finished the game the stronger scoring a further 4 points to Dromards 1 point to end the game 3 points ahead at the finish.
Next week both Division 1 and Division 3 teams play Clonguish. Our Senior team are at home while our Division 3 team travel to Allen Park. All players check fixtures for details of the games.
Lotto:
Our Weekly lotto draw took place in Begleys Bar on Sunday night. There were no jackpot winners. The numbers drawn were 7,10,22 and 34. The €20 winners were Patsy Fox Esker, Colm and Michelle Hughes Farragh, Philip Mullins Drumure, Vera Kiernan Rhyne and James Gray Ennybegs. The sellers prize went to Frankie Toher.
Next weeks draw takes place in The Olde Forge and the jackpot will be €6,100. As this is our main source of income we would encourage and appreciate all families in the parish to support our lotto. Anyone interested in purchasing a yearly ticket can do so by contacting any member of the executive.
