The inaugural Terry McCormack memorial cycle on the 9th of April is fast approaching with cyclists of all standards visible on the roads of late getting in shape. The event will start from the Rugby club with registration on the morning of the event. All monies raised are going to a charity close to Terrys heart, fighting blindness. We know the event will be well supported and are sure it will be a fitting legacy to honour Terry.
Our senior and junior reserve teams were in action last weekend both recording good ins away to Longford Slashers and Colmcille respectively. Our senior reserves won on a score of 3-11 to 1-12 while in a very entertaining game our junior reserves came away with victory on a score of 4-10 to 4-2. Well done to both teams and managements.
This weekend our senior reserves are at home to Clonguish at 7pm on Saturday while our junior reserves entertain Kenagh on Sunday morning at 11am.
Hard luck to the Longford senior team in Clare at the weekend. We wish them well this weekend against Westmeath.
Finally due to the bank holiday weekend our lotto draw was held over until Monday night. Full results in next weeks notes.
