Senior and Junior League games:

We played Colmcille in the first round of the Senior League on Saturday night last. In the end we were beaten on a scoreline of Killoe 0-11 Colmcille 3-8. Colmcille had the better of the first half and scored 2-1 before Killoe registered their first score. The first half ended on a scoreline of Killoe 0-5 Colmcille 3-5. Even though Killoe had slightly the better of the exchanges in the second half they left themselves with too much to do. Final Score Killoe 0-11 Colmcille 3-8.

Next week our Senior team are in action away to St.Marys Granard at 12.30 on Sunday.

Our Junior’s had a good win over Longford Slashers in the opening round of their league campaign on a scoreline of 2-7 to Slahers 0-6. Killoe dominated the first half going in at the break leading by 2-2 to 0-2. The 2 goals were scored by Reece Leonard and Enda Bracken. In the second half Slashers came back more into the game but were unable to break down a gallant Killoe side. Final score Killoe 2-7 to Slasher 0-6. Next weeks junior game takes place in Emmet Park against Young Grattens on Saturday evening at 7pm.

Bereavement:

The club extends sincere sympathy to the McManus Family Soran on the death of Catherine’s mother Lily Sheridan.

Covid 19 Restrictions:

Due to the Covid 19 restrictions we will only have a limited amount of tickets for our Senior game next weekend. A raffle will be held with all the names of our club members by the executive in the coming week. If your name is drawn out a member of the club executive will be in contact with you regarding the ticket details before Friday. This is likely the procedure we will follow with ticket allocation for our future games while Covid-19 restrictions remain in place.
