Our Men’s Shed launch will take place in Begleys Bar on Saturday night 4th March. Music by Connie and Paddy. Donations optional. Raffle for spot prizes. Please come and support this fund raiser as funds are needed to set up this new venture. It is an excellent opportunity and a great meeting place with something for every man.
The weekly meeting is taking place next Thursday the 2nd of March in Emmet Og Clubhouse between 5pm to 7pm. New members welcome.
Due to a high demand Emmet ÓG GAA will run another Cardiac Screening programme on Saturday March 18th.

Our annual 5 and 10 Kilometer runs on the 12th of March are fast approaching. Registration will take place on the morning from 10am to 11am with both races commencing at 12 midday. Runners and walkers of all standards are welcome. Entry is €15 for runners, €10 for walkers and €5 for juveniles. The race will be times but not chipped. Refreshments will be served afterwards in the club house.
Our lotto draw took place on Sunday night in the Olde Forge and the numbers drawn were 16, 17 25 and 26. There was no jackpot winner. €20 winners were the McKenna Boys, Ohill, Frances Lenard, Esker, Rosin Lennon, Esker, Mia Shannon, Knockloughlin and Cian O Reilly, Abbeycartron with Milo taking the sellers prize. Next weeks draw for a jackpot of €6,400 will take place in Begleys on Sunday night.
