Junior A Championship Round 2 V Clonguish

Our Junior A team continued their winning ways with a big win over Clonguish in Round 2 of the Junior Championship on Sunday afternoon. The team play Colmcille in Round 3 in two weeks time.

Senior Championship Round 4 V Mullinalaghta St. Columbas

Our Senior team made it 4 wins from 4 in dramatic fashion with a one point win over Mullinalaghta St. Columbas in Páirc na nGael on Sunday evening. Killoe had a poor start to the game and only got their first score 15 minutes in when Mark Hughes converted a free. By half time Killoe trailed by 3 points but began the second half well when scores from Paddy Kiernan, Daniel Mimnagh & Mark Hughes brought the sides level. St. Columbas looked to have victory in their grasp when they went 2 points ahead in injury time but a hopeful ball into the square yielded a last minute goal for Killoe as they snatched a one point victory from the jaws of defeat. Full time score Killoe 1-9, Mullinalaghta 0-11. The win sees Killoe secure top spot in Group 2 of the Senior Championship with a game to spare. Well done to the team & management.
