Our juniors had a good win over Longford Slashers on Wednesday evening last and now play Mostrim this Wednesday evening at home for a place in championship the semii final. Throw in is at 8.30pm.
Our seniors rounded off their league campaign with a hard fought win over Mostrim on Friday evening in Emmet Park and have now qualified for the leader cup semi finals.
This Saturday evening we face Abbeylara in the senior championship semi final in Pearse Park. Throw in is at 6.30pm. Good luck to Fergal and the lads.
Our lotto draw took place in Begleys on Sunday night and the numbers drawn were 8, 10, 18 and 22. There was no jackpot winner. €20 winners were Florence Connell, Clonee, Nikki Tully, Kilglass, Annie Carr, C/O Hughes shop, Imelda Keenan, Ardagh and Anna Delaney, Longford. This weeks sellers prize went to Darina McGoldrick. Next week sees the jackpot rise to €2,700 with the draw in the Olde Forge on Sunday night.
