Senior Club Notes 25th May 2015

Our senior reserve team welcomed Dromard to Emmet Park on Friday evening last and the game was played in glorious conditions. In a high scoring and entertaining game we ran out winners on a score of 1-23 to 3-6. We have now qualified for the semi final of this competition where we will face Mostrim. The game is this coming Saturday evening in Emmet Park at 8.30pm.

Our junior reserve game at the weekend against Moydow was postponed. We are due to face Shroid Slashers next weekend in the junior reserve league. The game is in Shroid on bank holiday Monday at 2pm.

Best wishes to the Longford county team, especially Mickey Quinn and Cian Farrelly on Sunday against Dublin in Croke Park. Not an easy task but a great experience for the team.

We send our best wishes to Mark Hughes who departed for New York at the weekend. We hope to see him back in the white and green before the Summer is out.

We send our best wishes to Margaret McCormack, Kiltyreher who has returned home following her recent surgery. Hopefully she will be back out and about before a ball is kicked in earnest this Summer.

Our lotto draw took place on Sunday night in Begley’s bar and the numbers drawn were 2,12,17 and 20. There was no jackpot winner. €20 winners were Ann Toher, Ennybegs, Paddy Hughes, Ohill, Rosemary Farrell, Ballyconnell, Jamie Murphy, Ennybegs and Patsy Fox, Esker. This weeks sellers prize went to Ann Murray. Next weeks jackpot rises to €3,900 with the draw in the Olde Forge on Sunday night. Thanks again to all who support our weekly lotto.

Finally a months memory mass will be offered this coming Friday evening in Ennybegs for our dear friend Terry McCormack. Please note mass is at the earlier time of 7.30pm
