Senior Club Notes 25th March 2024

Lotto Results

The weekly Emmet Óg Killoe Minor Club Lotto Draw took place this evening.

The Jackpot was €11,000.

Numbers drawn on the night were 10, 27, 34, 3.

There was no Jackpot winner this week.

2024 Club Membership

Club Membership for the 2024 season is now open and can be purchased from any member of the club executive as well as online through Foireann ( and Clubforce (Link).

Membership for the 2024 Club Season is as follows:

  • Adult Player – €40
  • Adult non-player – €25
  • Student Player/Under 18 – €20

Membership entitlements include entry into draw for All Ireland Football & Hurling Finals tickets, as well as Club voting rights.

Leinster League

Our Senior team had their first win of the season last Saturday in the First Round of the Leinster League with a home win against Roche Emmets of Louth. FT: Killoe 2-14 Roche Emmets 2-9 (HT: Killoe 1-4, Roche Emmets 2-7). Scorers: Larry 0-5, Denis 0-3 (1f), Davin 0-3(2f), Ronan K, Shane D (1-0 each) Cian, Terry Mc, Shane Mc (0-1 each).

ACFL Division One League

Our Senior team play Longford Slashers this Friday evening in Clonee in the first round of the Longford league. Throw in is at 7:30pm.

National Draw

Our National Club Draw will be held Easter Sunday night in Begley’s Bar. All welcome to attend. Lots of prizes to be won on the night.

Senior Scór

Good news came from Abbeylara last Friday night, we had five categories entered in Senior Scór this year.

  • Figure Dancing – Tara Goulding , Marie Brady, Niamh Whelan, Rebecca Moorehead.
  • Solo Singing (1st Place) – Rebecca Moorhead
  • Instrumental (1st Place) – Padraig Walsh, Eoin Walsh, Marie Brady.
  • Ballad Group (1st Place) – Eamon Keogh, Olivia Whelan, Alanna McKeon, Marie Brady, Anna Moorhead.
  • Novelty Act – Eamon Keogh, Emily McCarthy, Niamh Harte, Marie Brady, Anna Moorhead.

We also received club of the year for 2024.

Easter Camp 2024

Our Easter Club camp will run from Tuesday 2nd of April to Thursday 4th of April for children who are in primary school.(Second Week of Easter Holidays). Closing date for registering for camp is Friday 22nd March. Any questions regarding the camp please contact our club coaching officer Emmet Toher.

Volunteering Cul Camps 

We are now taking applications for our Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camp Coach & Volunteer positions All info is available by clicking into the Online Application form linked here All applicants must be at least 16 by early June to have any role on our Camps.
