Division 1 V Clonguish
Our Senior team resumed their league action on Wednesday night away to Clonguish. Unfortunately Killoe failed to get a grip on the game and Clonguish were the better team throughout. The full time score read Clonguish 1-12, Killoe 1-9.
Division 1 V Dromard
There was little time to dwell on Wednesdays defeat as our Seniors faced Dromard in Emmet Park on Saturday evening in a quick turnaround. Thankfully Killoe got back to winning ways and secured a fantastic 10 point win over Dromard. Killoe 0-19, Dromard 0-9 was the full time score. The win puts Killoe back on top of Group 1 in Division 1.
Division 3 V Clonguish
Our Junior team won the first piece of silverware for the club this year when they secured the Division 3 title with a 10 point win over Clonguish in Emmet Park on Sunday afternoon. Full time score Killoe 2-13, Clonguish 0-9. Congratulations to the team & management. The team now play Killashee at home in the semi finals of the Gilmore Cup.
Upcoming Fixtures
Our Senior team play Colmcille at 8:00pm in Fr. McGee Park this Wednesday in round 9 of the league and also play Abbeylara on Saturday evening at 7pm in round 10 in Oliver Lynch park.
Our Junior team face St. Brigids Killashee at home in the Gilmore Cup semi final next weekend. Time & date TBC.
