Senior Club Notes – 24th March 2019

Bertie Allen Cup:

Our Senior team got the year off to a positive start with a 3-17 to 1-3 victory over St Patricks Ardagh in the Bertie Allen Cup on Friday night last. It was a good team performance with some new players on show. Our Senior team are in Division 1 action next weekend away to Colmcille while our Division 3 team are home to Longford Slashers. Check fixture list for details of day and time.

Irish Cultural:

Our Club held an Irish Cultural senior group social on Saturday night last in Ennybegs Community Centre. A very enjoyable night was had by the large crowd that attended. Thanks to all who helped to organise the night and to all who performed on the night.

Wake in the West:

All who attended the final production of Wake in the West were treated to a great night of laughter and craic. Thanks again to the cast and production team for putting this performance in aid of our club. Thanks also to the full house that attended on the night.

Membership is now due and can be paid to registrars Ronan Mc Goldrick and Sean Whelan.

Our lotto draw took place in Begleys Bar on Sunday night last. There were no jackpot winners. The numbers drawn were 10,21,28,30 . The €20 winners were Padraig Brady Esker, Alfie Thompson Esker, Tom Mc Manus Soran, Colm O Donnell Kelleter and Ciaran Prior Lanesboro. The sellers prize went to Miceal Kenny.
