Our senior and junior teams suffered defeats in the leader cup and Gilmore cup semi-finals at the weekend. This culminates our senior action for 2017. We thank all the players and management teams for the wonderful effort and commitment shown all year as well as the entertainment they have provided.
Our under 21 team are in championship action this coming weekend. Please see fixtures for details.
Our €20,000 prize drop on the 4th of November is fast approaching. Tickets priced at €20 each are now widely available throughout the parish. In anticipation of the event this coming Sunday night we are holding a pre-show party in Begleys bar. Entertainment and finger food will be provided on the night. We hope to see a large crowd in attendance.
Our lotto draw took place on Sunday night and the numbers drawn were 4, 11, 28 and 29. There was no jackpot winner. €20 winners were Colm and Michelle Hughes, Claire and Oggie Campbell, Derek Ryan, Longford, Kevin Meunier, Longford and J and B Molihan, Longford. This week’s sellers prize went to Joe Leonard. Next week sees the jackpot rise to €9,800 with the draw in Begleys bar on Sunday night. Thanks again to all who continue to support our lotto.
