We start this week by congratulating our under 20 team and management on a fine win in the championship semi final on Wednesday evening last over Longford Slashers on a score of 3-12 to 2-10. The final will be played in the coming weeks. In the inaugural year of this age group wouldn’t it be a great honour to capture the trophy.
Both our seniors and juniors suffered home defeats at the weekend to Mullinalaughta and Legan in the leagues. This coming weekend our seniors are at home to Ballymahon on Friday evening at 8.30pm while our juniors are at home to Colmcille on Saturday at 6pm. Good luck to both.
Our Lotto draw for a jackpot of €12,200 took place in Begleys bar on Sunday night and the numbers drawn were 7, 22, 23 and 29. There was no jackpot winner. €20 winners were Ollie Killian, Ennybegs, Damian Brady, Boher, Patsy Duke, Annally Park, Kieran Corr, Killoe and Liam Reilly, Dring.This weeks sellers prize went to Frank Toher..
