Senior Club Notes 22nd November 2020

AGM:

Our Club AGM takes on Sunday the 13th of December (time TBC). Due to the current pandemic and Covid restrictions, this years AGM will take place online via Microsoft Teams. In order to register to attend the AGM, members are asked to forward their email addresses to secretary.emmetog.longford@gaa.ie and all relevant documentation will be forwarded in advance.

Lotto Online Results:

Our weekly lotto draw took place on Sunday evening. There were no jackpot winners. The numbers drawn were 16, 22, 23 and 28. The lucky dip winners were Liam Foley, Tommy Reilly and Aidan Brady.

Next weeks draw takes place on Sunday evening, all tickets have to be in by 6pm. Lotto jackpot stands at €10,500. Our lotto will be ran fully on line and you can purchase your tickets by clicking the link on our Facebook page or downloading the Clubforce App on your phone. If you require any assistance in buying a ticket please contact any member of the club executive. If there are no jackpot winners there will be 3 €30 lucky dips picked from all the tickets purchased. Thank you for your continued support for our lotto. All tickets from the lotto boxes will be collected by 12 noon on the day of the draw. Any tickets received after this time will go into the following weeks draw.

Club Fundraiser:

Once again the GAA have launched the National Club Draw for 2021. The draw takes place in March 2021. This is always a great fundraiser for us and we are asking all our members for their support. Tickets will be available from all committee members and online at €10 each. A full list of the prizes are available on our Facebook page.

Along with the National Draw we are also holding a separate draw for €1000 in prizes. 1st Prize of €500 and 5 prizes of €100 each. Please Support.

Bloody Sunday:

On Saturday night we turned on our pitch lights from 19:20 to 20:20 to commemorate all those who lost their lives in Croke Park, 100 years ago on Bloody Sunday.

Bereavement:

The Club extends sincere sympathy to John and Philomena Reilly Bawn on the death of Philomena’s sister Mary Connolly.
