Junior Championship Round 2 V Colmcille

Our Juniors got their championship back on track with a two point win over Colmcille in Monaduff on Saturday evening. Full time score: Killoe 0-9, Colmcille 0-7. Well done to all.

Senior Championship Round 3 V Carrickedmond

Our Seniors also got their first win of the championship with a 2-11 to 0-6 point win over Carrickedmond in Keenan Park Ardagh on Sunday last. Despite being down by 4 points in the opening stages, Killoe eventually got a foothold in the game with Mark Hughes & Ronan McGoldrick getting the scores. By half time Killoe were in front with a 2 point advantage. A long kick out early in the second half found Eugene Clarke on the run in open territory and he passed it off to Mark Hughes who made no mistake in putting the ball in the back of the net. With the game firmly in Killoes control despite numerous missed scores, substitute Ciaran Donohoe sealed the win with a well taken finish after a brilliant move. Full time score: Killoe 2-11, Carrickedmond 0-6. Well done to all.
