Junior C Championship Rd2 V Carrickedmond
Our Junior C team played their first game of the campaign away to Carrickedmond on Wednesday evening last after receiving a walkover in round 1 v Kenagh. Unfortunately the result didn’t go our way and a late goal by Carrickedmond saw them run on one point winners on a score line of 2-6 to 11 points. Commiserations to the team & management.
Junior A Championship Rd1 V Ballymore
Our Junior A team began their championship campaign with a win away to Ballymore on Sunday afternoon. First half goals from David Mimnagh & Paul O’Hara left Killoe with a comfortable lead at half time. In the second half Ballymore came back strong and looked to have snatched a draw in the closing minutes but a late free from David Mimnagh secured the win. Well done to the team & management.
Championship Tickets
As per last year, entry to this year’s Championships will be via the online ticketing sales system provided by Universe. For tickets go to the Longford GAA Website (https://longfordgaa.ie/tickets-clubs/)
There are 3 types of ticket available to purchase:
- Ticket for each Round Stage game @ €10 each
- Weekend Pass costing €15 which allows access to all games on a particular weekend
- Championship Pass for €90 which admits you to all Adult Championship games from this coming weekend up to and including Sunday, 10th September 2023.
Please note tickets must be purchased in advance and no tickets are on sale at the venues. If any supporter is having issues purchasing an online ticket please do not hesitate to contact a member of the club executive for assistance.
Upcoming Fixtures
Our Junior C team are at home to Fr. Manning Gaels on Thursday evening at 8:00pm in round 3 of the Championship.
Our Junior A team are at home to Clonguish on Sunday next at 1:30pm in round 2 of the Championship.
Our Senior team face St. Columbas Mullinalaghta at 5:15pm in Páirc na nGael in Dromard on Sunday evening in round 4 of the Championship.
