Division 5 V Grattan Óg

Our Division 5 team recorded a 3-11 to 1-10 win over Grattan Óg in the final round of group games in Division 5. The win sees us face Abbeylara in the semi final which takes place this Wednesday at 8PM in Oliver Lynch Park. All support appreciated.

Division 1 V Mostrim

In Division 1 on Thursday last, our Senior team recorded a win over Mostrim in C&D Devine Park. Eamon Keogh opened the scoring with a point from play. Mostrim were in control for the opening stages but failed to convert their chances. A dropped ball in the Mostrim square was quickly pounced on by David McCarthy who fired it into the net for our second score of the game to swing Killoe into gear. Points from Ciaran Donohoe, Denis McGoldrick and Larry Moran had stretched our lead even further when Moran finished off some great play with a goal, minutes before half time. Another point from Eamon Keogh seen Killoe lead at half time 2-7 to 8 points. Killoe started the second half in the same fashion as they closed the first with 2 quick scores from Larry Moran and Cian Farrelly. Moran followed this up with a further three points without reply. A brace of points from Denis McGoldrick and Ciaran Donohoe sealed the game for Killoe with a Mostrim goal coming too late to change the final outcome. Full time score, Killoe 2-17 Mostrim 1-10. Scorers: Larry Moran 1-6 (1 mark), Denis McGoldrick 0-4, Ciaran Donohoe 0-4 (2 frees), David McCarthy 1-0, Eamon Keogh 0-2, Cian Farrelly 0-1
