Well done to the Longford senior team including Daniel and Padraig on their fine win over Westmeath at the weekend. Hopefully we can secure promotion on Sunday next against Fermanagh.
Of course Longford were without Michael Quinn on Saturday following his wedding to Kate Larkin on Saturday last. We wish you both many many happy years together.
Our lotto draw took place on Sunday night last in the Olde Forge for a jackpot of €11,700 and the numbers drawn were 7, 14, 19 and 22. There was no jackpot winner. €20 winners were Katie and Sean O Hara, C/O Anne Toher, Donal Maguire, Ciaran Donohoe, Kelleter, James Kennedy, Kilmoyle and Paul Devaney, Esker. This weeks sellers prize went to Margaret McCormack. Next week sees the jackpot rise to €11,800 with the draw in Begleys bar on Sunday night.
