Congratulations to senior player Larry Moran who was part of the UCD team that captured the Sigerson Cup at the weekend. Larry becomes the third Killoe man to capture a Sigerson medal following in the footsteps of Davy Sheerin and Michael Quinn. Certainly a proud moment for any player.
Commiserations to our Ballad group and quiz team who lost out narrowly in the junior Scòr finals in Sligo at the weekend. Well done to both groups and managers on reaching this stage of the competition.
Senior scòr takes place this coming Friday in Ardagh and we are well represented in the various competitions.

Finally this week we offer our deepest condolences to the Brown and Kiernan/Sorohan families on their very sad bereavements last week. Bridie Brown was a very loyal and passionate Killoe supporter who always had her flag flying and her lotto ticket in the draw. She will be sadly missed in all walks of life in the community. May both rest in peace.
