Well done to The Longford senior team including Mark Hughes and Larry Moran who had a fantastic win over a strong Dublin team in the semi final of the O Byrne cup in Pearse Park on Sunday last. It was great to see such fight and spirit in the team. Lets hope they continue in the same form for this Sundays final against Meath in Navan.
Well done also to the Longford under 21 team including Liam Hughes, Paddy Kiernan, Michael Hughes, Shane Fitzpatrick and Larry Moran who are progressing nicely in the Hastings cup.
Membership is now due for all members for the coming years. The rates are €40 for playing members, €25 for non playing members and €20 for student members.

Our lotto draw took place in the Olde Forge on Sunday night with John Fitzsimons team on this weekend. The numbers drawn were 11,16, 23 and 30. Unfortunately there was no jackpot winner. €20 winners were Paul Igoe, Vanessa Kiernan, Darina McGoldrick, Marie and Doc, C/O Begleys and Billy Hughes with John Fitzsimons taking this weeks sellers prize. As our lotto is our main source of income week to week we encourage all our supporters near or far to continue playing our loot as often as possible either on line or locally.
