We had a busy weekend just gone with our senior b and junior teams in championship and league action. On Friday evening our senior b’s defeated Clonguish y the minimum of margins in a very entertaining game in the championship semi final. On Sunday morning our junior drew with a very strong Legan side in the league in what was equally a very entertaining game. Well done to both.
This weekend sees the commencement of the senior A championship. We face Dromard on Sunday evening in Newtownforbes at 7.30pm. Good luck to team and management.
Our lotto draw took place in The Olde Forge on Sunday night and teh numbers drawn were 7,9,23 and 34. There was no jackpot winner. €20 winners were Grace Lee, C/O Begleys, Eddie Smith, Tommy Reilly, Farragh, Brian Brady, Boher and John Rodgers, C/O Doyles. This weeks sellers prize went to Miss Megan Lee in Begleys. Next week sees the jackpot rise to €8,400 with the draw in Begleys on Sunday night. Thanks again to all who continue to support our lotto on a regular basis.
