Senior Club Notes – 16th September 2019

A Night with GAA Legends:

The club is hosting an Evening with GAA Legends on Saturday evening the 5th of October commencing at 7.30pm in the clubhouse Clonee. We are very much looking forward to this evening and the Legends who will be in attendance are Tyrone star Peter Canavan, Westmeath star Dessie Dolan, Armagh star Oisin McConville and Kerry great Tomas O’Shea. They will also be joined by local stars. Tickets will go on sale in Begleys and the Olde Forge and are priced at €20 each. Please note tickets are strictly limited so get your tickets early to avoid disappointment.

Club Merchandise

There has been a large uptake on the sale of Club Merchandise over the weekend. Opening times for sales this week in the clubhouse are as follows: Wednesday 7-8:30pm, Friday 6-7:30pm and on Sunday 12-1pm.

County Final Competition:

In advance of the County Final, the club are running a competition for the best decorated house or business in the parish. To enter submit your photograph to the clubs Facebook page for a chance to win 1 years subscription to our weekly lotto.

Church gate Collection:

The Club thank everyone who supported our church gate collection last weekend.

Lotto:

Our lotto draw took place in Begleys on Sunday night. There were no jackpot winners. The numbers drawn were 4,15,28 and 35. The €20 winners Ciaran Donohoe Kelleter, Geraldine Macken Killoe, Aidan Brady Boher, Fr.Paddy Hagan Rhyne PO and Claire Farrell Ballymahon. The Sellers prize went to Micheal Smyth. Next weeks draw takes place in The Olde Forge and the jackpot will be €8,100. Thank you for your continued support for our lotto. Sympathy:

The club extends sincere sympathy to the Leonard and Browne families on their recent bereavements.

Junior Victory:

Congratulations to the Killoe Junior team and management on defeating Colmcille in the semi-final on Friday night last. They now qualify for the final against Kenagh.
