KILLOE GAA

Senior Club Notes 16th March 2015

The reserve leagues continued last weekend for our teams with mixed results. Our reserve junior team were at home to Legan on Friday evening and despite a much improved performance, we still fell short on a final score of Legan 1-7, Killoe 7 points. Indeed but for some wayward shooting in the second half we could have won this game. On Saturday evening our senior reserve team travelled to Michael Fay Park and took on Longford Slashers. After a strong performance we came out on top on a final score of 1-13 to 1-9, Ciaran Donohoe bagging the goal from a second half penalty.

Next weekend sees the commencement of the senior and junior leagues and both teams have home games on Saturday. Our juniors are at home to Dromard at 5pm while our seniors welcome Clonguish at 7pm.

Well done to the Longford senior team on their win in Wicklow at the weekend and best wishes to the Under 21 team against Dublin on Wednesday night.
