Senior Club Notes 16th February 2015

This coming Monday evening, the 23rd February at 8pm, Laura Doherty will present a workshop on concussion in Saint Theresa’s National School. The presentation is aimed at all coaches, players and anyone involved in running any of our various teams. The workshop will assist people in identifying possible concussion and the short and long term management of anyone affected by concussion.  The treatment of players affected by concussion has become a very real issue in recent years and as such it is very important to identify it early. As such we expect a large turn out for this very useful presentation.

Training continues every Tuesday and Friday evenings at 8.30p.m. for all players as well as Sunday mornings at 10am. The league draws were made last week with games commencing in mid March. Our first senior league game is at home to Clonguish. Membership is now overdue and can be paid directly to James McGoldrick or through our website www.killoegaaie.

Our lotto draw took place on Sunday night and the numbers drawn were 14, 18, 21 and 29. There was no jackpot winner.  €20 euro winners were Margaret McKenna, c/o  Sean Kelly, Nellie McGoldrick, Ennybegs, Mgt & Michael Rogers, Joe Leonard, Esker and Gerry Rowley/Jim Mcgoldrick. This weeks sellers prize went to Brendan Bracken. Don’t forget our lotto is available to play on line at http://www.killoegaa.ie or in any of our local shops, etc. Thanks again to everyone who supports this vital method of fundraising.
