This coming weekend we are away to Abbeylara on Saturday evening in the junior reserve league.

Best wishes to the Longford senior team in the first round of the Leinster championship away to Laois this coming Sunday.

A club meeting will take place this Thursday night in the club house at 9pm.

Our mens shed group had their fundraiser in the Olde Forge on Sunday night and it was a tremendously enjoyable and successful night. The committee would like to thank anyone who assisted in any way in making the night happen, particularly anyone who sold tickets and managed the tote and ticket sales on the night. Also the staff and management at the Olde Forge, our MC Billy and all who donated spot prizes for the night. The night leaves our mens shed group in a strong position financially to purchase tools and equipment for the group.

Our lotto draw for a jackpot of   took place on Sunday night in Begleys and the numbers drawn were 1, 2, 10 ad 13. There was no jackpot winner. €20 winners were Kevin Murray, David Prunty, Dooroc, Seamus Donnelly, Clonrollagh, Kevin Mahon and Cian O Reilly, Abbeycartron with Brian Finneran taking the sellers prize. Well done to all the winners and thanks to all who purchased tickets.
