Senior Club Notes 14th August 2017

We had a busy weekend just gone with our senior and juniors in championship and league action. Unfortunately it was defeat for both with our seniors losing out to Mullinalaughta on Friday evening and our juniors losing out to Colmcille on Sunday.

The draw for the championship quarter final took place on Sunday evening and we were matched with championship favorites Mullinalaughta once again.  This game will take place  in two weeks time.

This coming weekend our juniors are in league action at home against Abbeylara on Saturday evening at 7pm and commencing their championship campaign on Tuesday evening next at home to Colmcille.

Our senior are away to Longford Slashers in the league on Sunday next at 1.45pm  Good luck to both.

Our lotto draw took place on Sunday evening in The Olde Forge and the numbers drawn were 19, 22, 24 and 26. There was no jackpot winner. €20 winners were John Kiernan, Ennybegs, Cormac Gobel, Bundoon, Mollie Martin, Dooroc, Sinead Killian, Aughaboy and Maureen Kilmurray with Margaret McCormack taking this weeks sellers prize. Next week sees the jackpot rise to E 8,600 with the draw in Begleys on Sunday night. Thanks again to all who support our lotto draw.

Best wishes to senior star Daniel Keogh who is acting as an escort at the Rose of Tralee competition next week. We hope you bring success to your rose.

Congratulations to Maree Kiernan and MIchael Glancy ho got married at the weekend. We hope you have many many happy years together.

Finally we offer our deepest sympathies to the Campbell family on their bereavement during the week.
