Senior Club Notes 13th February 2022

The weekly Emmet Óg & Killoe Minor Club Lotto Draw took place on Sunday evening.

The Jackpot was €12,000.

There was no Jackpot winner this week.

Club Meeting

Our first full club meeting in just over two years was held on Monday night last and it was great to see such good numbers in attendance. We look forward to getting back to regular monthly meetings, and all members are encouraged to attend.

Sports Capital Funding

We were delighted to receive a grant of €51,468 from the Sports Capital Funding towards the installation of LED lighting on our main pitch, ensuring that we can host night time matches once again.

We would like to thank local TD Joe Flaherty and Senator Micheál Carrigy for their help with this application.

Scór na nÓg

Scór na nÓg is taking place on March 19th at 4PM in Ardagh. If you are interested in participating in any of the following events:Figure dancing, Solo singing, Ballad group, Instrumental music, Recitation, Novelty Act or Set Dancing, please contact Emmet Toher or any member of the Minor Board committee.

Coaching Workshop

Killoe Minor Club will be running a Coaches Workshop on Saturday 26th of February in Emmet Park, Clonee  starting at 10am and finishing at 12.30pm . We will have two very experienced special guest coaches on the day to bring us through different aspects of the game. They will be working with our U17/18 team and our U13 and schoolboys and schoolgirls teams. Refreshments will be served on the day. Looking forward to seeing all our coaches on the day ahead of what we hope will be a very enjoyable and successful 2022 GAA year.

Club Fundraiser

Once again the GAA have launched the National Club Draw for 2022. The draw takes place  on June 4th 2022. This is always a great fundraiser for us and we are asking all our members for their support. Tickets will be available from all committee members and online at €10 each. A full list of the prizes are available on our facebook page. Along with the National Draw we are also holding a seperate draw for €1000 in prizes. 1st Prize of €500 and 5 prizes of €100 each. Please Support.

2022 Club Membership

Club Membership for the 2022 season is now open and can be purchased from any member of the club executive as well as online through Foireann (returntoplay.gaa.ie) and Clubforce.

Membership for the 2022 Club Season is as follows:

Adult Player – €40

Adult non-player – €25

Student Player- €20 

Membership entitlements include entry into draw for All Ireland Football & Hurling Finals tickets, entry into any draw for tickets to our Club Championship games, as well as Club voting rights.
