Senior Club Notes 13th December 2020


Our first virtual Club AGM was held on Sunday last at 2PM via Microsoft Teams, with a large number of members tuning in from at home and abroad. The Chairman, Secretary & Treasurer addressed the meeting with very positive reports and they thanked all the members for their hard work & support during the year. The election of officers took place from which the following officers were elected:

  • President: Eamonn Quinn
  • Vice-President: John Reilly
  • Chairman: Gerry Hagan
  • Vice-Chairman: Declan Rowley
  • Secretary: Sean Maguire
  • Assistant Secretary: Cormac O’Donnell
  • Treasurer: Mairead Loughlin
  • Assistant-Treasurer: Geraldine Halpin
  • PRO: Nicole Rowley
  • County Board Delegates: Sean Maguire, Robert Browne & David Donnelly
  • Registrars: Sean Whelan and David Kiernan 
  • Irish & Cultural Officer: Marie Brady
  • Childrens Officer: Martina Reynolds
  • Development Officer: Jimmy Halpin

Brendan Bracken & Ronan McGoldrick were thanked for all the great work they had done during their years on the executive, after stepping down from their respective roles. 

It is great to have such a strong executive leading us into 2021.


The weekly Emmet Óg & Killoe Minor Club Lotto Draw took place on Sunday last. 

The Jackpot was €10,500. There was no Jackpot winner this week. Numbers drawn on the night were 27, 25, 20, 4.

Lucky Dip winners were as follows:

Club Fundraiser

Once again the GAA have launched the National Club Draw for 2021. The draw takes place in March 2021. This is always a great fundraiser for us and we are asking all our members for their support. Tickets will be available from all committee members and online at €10 each. A full list of the prizes are available on our facebook page.

Along with the National Draw we are also holding a separate draw for €1000 in prizes. 1st Prize of €500 and 5 prizes of €100 each. Please Support.
