Senior Club Notes 12th December 2016

Preparations are in full swing for our Christmas social outing and draw which takes place this coming Saturday night in Begleys bar. Raffle tickets at €10 each are still available from any club member with fabulous prizes on the ticket ranging from a car in the national club draw as well as several all Ireland packages, to the many cash prizes which are on offer next Saturday night.

Music on the night is by Connie and Paddy and finger food will be served. We hope to see a big crowd in attendance for what should be a great way to kick off Christmas.

Our annual general meeting will take place on Sunday the 8th of January at 4pm.

This years dinner dance will yet again take place in The Landmark Hotel, Carrick On Shannon and is on the 14th January. Tickets will be available shortly.

Our annual charity game marrieds V singles will take place on Saint Stephens day at 2pm with all monies raised going to local charity good 2 Talk.

Our lotto draw for a jackpot of €5,000 took place on Sunday night in Begleys and the numbers drawn were 16, 20, 24 and 27. There was no jackpot winner. €20 winners were Connie O Reilly, Killoe, Niamh, Lee, Killoe, Francis Brady Leonard, Killoe, Padraig Dolan, Knockahaw, and Hughie Brady, Cartron. This weeks sellers prize went to Joe Leonard.  Next weeks draw for a jackpot of €5,100 will take place in the Olde Forge on Sunday night. Thanks again to all who continue to support our lotto.

Best wishes to former player Michael Brady following his recent operation and also congratulations to Joe Maloney and his wife Catriona on the recent birth of their daughter Katie.
