Senior Club Notes 11th June 2018

Hard luck to the Longford senior team against Dublin last Sunday in the Leinster championship. For certain periods of the game we were as good as Dublin but a lack of guile in front of goals and a few wayward decisions went against us before Dublin’s bench made a big difference late on. There are lots of positives  to take from it. Good luck against Kildare in the next round.

We had no games last weekend. This Friday our senior reserves are at home to Longford Slashers in the league at 8.15pm.

Well done to our school girls and hard luck to our school boys in the championship finals last week.

Our lotto draw for a jackpot of €12,900 took place on Sunday night and the numbers drawn were 3,5, 22 and 27. There was no jackpot winner. €20 winners were Frank Rowley, New York, Jimmy Connell, David Mimnagh, Paddy Lee, Esker and Billy Bratten. This weeks sellers prize went to Margaret McCormack.  Next week sees the jackpot rise to €13,000 with the draw in Begley son Sunday night. Thanks again to all who support our lotto in its many guises.
