Division 1 V Mullinalaghta St. Columbas

Our Senior team recorded a 1-13 to 9 point win over Mullinalaghta St. Columbas in Emmet Park on Saturday last. St. Columbas opened the scoring in the early stages but Killoe regained control soon after, Eamon Keogh palming the ball into the back of the net from a Larry Moran pass. A black card to St. Columbas just after the water break allowed Killoe to pull away, leading 1-09 to 7 points at half time. For the duration of the second half Killoe never looked back, scoring 4 more points to St. Columbas 2, finishing up with a 7 point victory. Well done to the team and management. Scorers: Mark Hughes 6 (1free & 1 mark), Eamon Keogh 1-1, Eugene Clarke, Larry Moran, Ciaran Donohoe, Ronan McGoldrick & Shane Fitzpatrick (45’) 1 each.

Division 3 V Grattan Og

Our Intermediates recorded a 3-12 to 1-7 win over Grattan Og in round 3 of Division in Dunbeggan on Sunday last. Well done to the team and management.

Inter-county

Commiserations to the Longford U20 team who lost out to Westmeath on penalties following a closely fought game in Pearse Park on Thursday last.
