Division 1 V Clonguish

Our seniors recorded a win at home to Clonguish in the final round of division 1. With nothing to play for both sides started the game in a lively fashion with Clonguish opening the scoring. Killoe equalised but missed a number of chances in the intervening period before finally racking up scores. Killoe lead by 5 points at the start of the second half and began turning the screw with some well taken scores. Killoe put the game beyond reach when the McGoldrick brothers combined to place the ball in the Clonguish net for a goal. Full time score read Killoe 1-15 Clonguish. Killoe finish the league in 3rd place in group 1 and unfortunately miss out on a league and leader cup semi final. We wish a speedy recovery to Clonguish player Neil Devlin who sustained a nasty injury during the course of the game.

Tailteann Cup

Well done to our club captain Michael Quinn on his excellent punditry on The Saturday Game Live for the Tailteann Cup Final in Croke Park.
